In 2011, Neutrinos IT Association (then known as Neutrinci u Srbistanu) was actively engaged in animal protection and welfare projects in collaboration with domestic and international partners. A key part of this effort was the Take Action project, in partnership with the OSCE Mission to Serbia, which provided a platform to raise awareness about animal rights and welfare. This project encouraged Serbian citizens to take an active role in animal protection, offering resources and information on legislative changes aimed at safeguarding animal rights.

Additional support for these initiatives came through collaboration with the Dutch political organization Party for the Animals, which promoted the importance of animal care and the need for appropriate legal solutions across Europe. Through these initiatives, Neutrinos IT sought to highlight the issue of animal welfare, analyzing and critiquing existing legislative practices while emphasizing the need to strengthen animal rights protection in Serbia.

This project marked a first step in initiating public dialogue and educating the community on the importance of animal rights, laying the foundation for Neutrinos IT’s continued work in animal protection and welfare in cooperation with relevant institutions and NGOs.
