During Privacy Week 2024, a member of Neutrinos IT Association, Ivan Marković, participated as a facilitator in the presentation Cyber Attack on Critical Information Infrastructure as a Form of Personal Data Breach – The Case of Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS). This presentation focused on analyzing the technical aspects of the recent cyber attack on EPS, one of Serbia’s critical information infrastructures.

Through this case study, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the technical details of the attack and the response steps taken by the relevant institutions, examining national regulations on information security and data protection, as well as relevant criminal law provisions and internationally recognized best practice standards. Our member’s participation in this presentation provided additional expertise and fostered discussion on protecting critical infrastructure systems and improving personal data protection measures in the event of cyber attacks.
