Workshop: Intro to IoT Security

As part of its educational activities focused on IT security, members of Neutrinos IT Association were part of a workshop titled Intro to IoT Security organized by the Makers Community. This workshop was designed for creators and technology enthusiasts, with a specific focus on Internet of Things (IoT) security and the protection of network-connected devices. The goal was to help participants understand the basic concepts of IoT security and guide them on practical security measures they can apply to their projects.

The workshop covered key topics such as data protection, access management, data encryption, and managing network protocols specific to IoT devices. Participants also explored examples of how various IoT applications and devices may be vulnerable to security threats and how to safeguard them through appropriate security procedures.

This initiative was particularly important as it raised awareness among the tech community about the risks associated with the development of IoT technology. Educational content and hands-on exercises provided participants not only with theoretical knowledge but also with concrete skills to enhance the security of their projects and responsibly use IoT technology.
